Tha! (!!!!!!!!!!) Uill, nach eil. I'm only a beginner, but I try hard. Gaidhlig is the great love of my life, linguistically speaking. If anyone else is learning too, maybe we could form a Nerdfighter study group? That would be the BEST THING.

Tá Gaeilge agam. Is Éireannach mé. Ach, is doigh lion gur Gaeilge na hAlban a bhfuil sibh ag caint faoi, nach bhfuil? Táim ag stadéir san ollscoil in Albain anois.

I have Irish. I'm from Ireland. But, I guess you're talking about Scots Gaelic. I'm actually studying in a scottish university now.
Even in a place as dangerous as Apocalypse World, battlebabes are, well. They’re the ones you should walk away from, eyes down, but you can’t. They’re the ones like the seductive blue crackling light, y’know? You mistake looking at them for falling in love, and you get too close and it’s a zillion volts and your wings burn off like paper.

Tá Gaeilge na hÉireann agam, ach thuigim cad a bhfuil tú ag rá, don chuid is mó. Tá siad cosúil lena chéile ag labhairt, ach níos deacair ag léamh.

I speak Irish, but I understand almost all of what you say. The languages are very similar when spoken, but a little harder to read.

An gceapann aon duine eile go bhfuil sé ann súimúil an teanga eile a léamh? Is féidir liom an Gaeilge na hAlbain atá thuas a léamh cé nach bhfuil focail Albainnis agam!! Táim ag éirí mo chuid Gaeilge a choimead. Níl faic ráite agam ón am gur thánnaig mé chun na hollscoile!  :(

Does anyone else find reading the other language interesting? I can make out what ye're saying above (the translations help!!) even though I don't speak Scots' Gael! I really want to keep my Irish. I haven't really ever used it since coming to University.

Labhraím Gaeilge na hÉireann go flúirseach! Tuigim an chuid is mó de cad atá á rá agaibh. Is aoibhinn liom éisteacht le daoine labhairt Gaeilge na hAlban, tá cosúlacht mór idir an dhá theanga :) I speak fluent Irish! I can understand most of what you're saying, though. I love listening to people speak Scots Gaelic, it's very much like Irish :)
