    Alright, so I'm reading An Abundance of Katherines, and Colin calls someone a paardenlul, the footnote explaining that it is Dutch for "horse's penis" What does that mean figuratively, just as a**hole doesn't mean a hole with donkeys but a jerk?

    Recently I've been obsessed with the word resplendent, because it describes my huge, fluffy, confident cat quite well. He just sort lays all over like he owns the place, looking majestic. It's pretty fun to watch.
